10th of March 1972 The Kaunas Paralympic Sport Club establishes a parachute line consisting of Chief Commander Valentinas Baliūnas, instructors: Gintautas Varnagiris, Vytautas Grabliauskas, Petras Budrys, Augenius Savchikas.
30th of June 1973 Parachuting link is based on Order of the Lithuanian SSR SDAALR CK, transfered to Kaunas ASK which was signed on 25tf of May 1973. The parachute chairs were led by famous sportsmen A. Savčikas and J. Chominas, instructors: K. Žalys, P. Kapilioras, K. Liaudanskas, P. Radzevičius, A. Petreikis, coach – S.Razinas.
Until the restoration of Lithuanian independence, the parachutists did not feel fully-fledged members at the J. Žiburkaus Aviation Sports Club, so when the opportunity presented itself, athletes founded a separate Kaunas Parachuting Club in 1992 May 8. The Kaunas Parachuting Club settled in premises formerly owned by the Russian Army soldiers, and Vytautas Stankevičius became the head of the club.
The start was difficult, since airplanes and other inventory were left for gliders, and parachutists had to look for a flying machine from which they could safely reach the ground. In 1996 May 12 Kęstutis Milišauskas is elected head of the club. It took a lot of time and effort to make the club infrastructure suitable and more attractive not only to the citizens of Kaunas, but also to citizens of neighboring countries.
Recently, the club has performed up to 10,000 different parachuting jumps. We are meeting citizens of Poland, Latvia, Russia and other neighboring countries almost every weekend. Since mid-July 1999 the traditional event has been organized every year for parachute jump gathering - "Pociūnai Boogie"
